Lance Storm (Lance Evers) has confirmed that he is returning to IMPACT Wrestling as a producer/coach.
On Friday’s edition of Figure Four Daily, Storm stated he would be back on the road with IMPACT beginning with the upcoming shows in New Orleans, Louisiana later this month.
Storm worked briefly with the promotion as a producer in 2019 before taking a role with WWE in the same capacity which led to the closing of the Storm Wrestling Academy that year. The gym had produced many talents that went on to sign contracts with national promotions after opening its doors in September 2005.
Due to the pandemic, Storm was part of the cuts in 2020 and has been a regular contributor on the Wrestling Observer news site over the past two years.
On the Figure Four Daily show, he said IMPACT is probably where he should have gone in 2019 but WWE made a “good offer” and he liked the security, at the time, WWE provided.
Storm is set to participate in IMPACT’s Gut Check tryouts that are taking place on March 6th in Columbus, Ohio during the Arnold Classic. Storm will run the tryouts alongside John E. Bravo.
IMPACT will be awarding a developmental contract to the winner of the Gut Check.
