World champions meet face-to-face.
At PROGRESS Wrestling’s Chapter 128 show today, the reigning PROGRESS World Champion Cara Noir was confronted by NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov.
The face-to-face occurred following Noir’s match. The lights in the venue went out and when they came back on, Ilja Dragunov was standing in the ring with his title over his shoulder.

Cara Noir has surpassed the two-year mark as PROGRESS World Champion. Dragunov last competed for PROGRESS prior to the pandemic in 2020. He was a part of a four-way match for the then-vacant PROGRESS World Title which Cara Noir won to kick off his reign.
At Chapter 128, ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham defended his title against Chris Ridgeway.
