Candy Floss (Amy Samardžija) has announced that her deal with NXT UK has expired and is no longer with WWE.
The performer issued a statement on Wednesday to reveal that her contract with the company expired in December.
Samardžija, 22, signed with WWE in January 2020 right as the pandemic began, and has not wrestled since.
Prior to signing, she wrestled for NXT UK multiple times beginning in October 2018. In June 2019, she was part of the NXT UK Women’s Title #1 Contendership Battle Royal, which was won by Kay Lee Ray.
After the passing of her mother, she stated she was diagnosed with severe PTSD and anxiety. She took a leave from WWE and noted how supportive the company was.
