Matt Cardona’s first defense of the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship will take place next month in Nashville.
Cardona won the championship on Saturday night by defeating Trevor Murdoch at the NWA Power Trip taping in Oak Grove, Kentucky.
The promotion has announced that former champion Nick Aldis will challenge Cardona as part of the two-day Crockett Cup event scheduled for March 19 & 20 in Nashville at The Fairgrounds.
It has not been stated which night will feature the championship.
