CM Punk is set to meet MJF in a Dog Collar match at AEW Revolution next month.

Wednesday’s edition of Dynamite began with Punk seated in the ring and revealing a dog collar inside of a box and tied in MJF’s comparisons to Roddy Piper as the inspiration for the match stipulation.

Piper and Greg Valentine had a legendary match with the stipulation at the first Starrcade event in November 1983 at the Greensboro, Coliseum.

Punk has had previous Dog Collar matches during his time in Ring of Honor with Raven and Jimmy Rave.

It will be the second Dog Collar match in AEW history with the first one taking place in October 2020 between Cody Rhodes and Brodie Lee.

AEW Revolution takes place from the Addition Financial Center in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, March 6th.
