Tenzan off the Golden Series tour.

On 2/15, New Japan Pro-Wrestling made the decision to pull Hiroyoshi Tenzan off the Korakuen Hall show due to a pre-existing right knee injury. In an update on Tenzan, he is now off the remainder of the Golden Series tour.

Tenzan was scheduled for shows through February 20th and changes to the cards he was supposed to be on have already been made.

The 50-year-old Tenzan was last in action on 2/13 when he teamed with Satoshi Kojima and Young Lion Ryohei Oiwa.

This year is Tenzan’s 25th year in wrestling. He made his New Japan Pro-Wrestling debut in January of 1991 and throughout his career, he captured the IWGP Heavyweight Title on four separate occasions.

Headlining the 2/16 NJPW show is an eight-person Elimination tag match between CHAOS and House of Torture.
