Ziggler is getting an NXT Title match.
Closing out tonight’s episode of NXT 2.0 was a singles match between Dolph Ziggler and Tommaso Ciampa. The winner of the match would secure themselves an NXT Championship match.
As Ciampa was laying near the bottom ring rope, he was hit over the back with a camera by a camera operator that turned out to be Dolph Ziggler’s tag team partner Robert Roode. Ziggler was able to capitalize and get the win. It is now official that Ziggler is going to be challenging Bron Breakker for the NXT Title.
Breakker made a run-in while Ziggler and Roode were jumping Ciampa. Breakker proposed that next week on NXT 2.0, he teams up with Ciampa to take on the former Raw Tag Team Champions.
