GHC Heavyweight Champion Kazuyuki Fujita joins Pro Wrestling NOAH full-time

The newly crowned GHC Heavyweight Champion Kazuyuki Fujita has signed a full-time deal with Pro Wrestling NOAH

Fujita is no longer working as a freelancer.

The conclusion of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s ‘Gain Control’ event on February 23rd saw Kazuyuki Fujita end Katsuhiko Nakajima’s reign as GHC Heavyweight Champion. This is Fujita’s second title win in NOAH, as he previously won the National Title in March 2021.

A post-event press conference was held today and during the presser, it was announced that Fujita has officially joined NOAH full-time. He had been working a freelancer.

In addition to the 51-year-old Fujita joining full-time, Abid Haroon, who is an amateur wrestler is now a member of NOAH as well. Haroon is aiming to qualify for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France. Haroon attends a private school in Japan named Nippon Sport Science University.

During the press conference, he said that when he’s done pursuing the Olympics, he’ll start working towards his in-ring debut.
