MLW’s SuperFight card from Charlotte, North Carolina featured a title change that will air on a future episode of Fusion.

The team of Calvin Tankman & EJ Nduka became the new MLW world tag team champions after defeating 5150’s Danny Limelight & Slice Boogie at the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte.

Tankman was revealed as Nduka’s mystery partner on the show with the match taped for an upcoming edition of MLW Fusion.

Nduka signed a deal with WWE in 2019 and worked at the Performance Center but never made it onto NXT television. He was part of the cuts in May 2021 and debuted with MLW shortly after his release.

Tankman has been wrestling with MLW since November 2020.

It is the first championship for both in the promotion.
