NWA pushes out announcements for the two-day Crockett Cup event.

In several weeks, starting on March 19th, the National Wrestling Alliance is going to be hosting the 2022 Crockett Cup. Already scheduled for the two-day event is Matt Cardona defending the Worlds Heavyweight Championship against Nick Aldis. The organization posted a video to their YouTube channel that had to do with updates concerning the Crockett Cup lineup.

It was confirmed that former 6-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett will be the special guest referee for Aldis versus Cardona.

The NWA World Women’s Title is going to be defended as Kamille puts her title on the line in a three-way involving Kylie Rae and Chelsea Green. Rae versus Green was originally scheduled for PowerrrTrip, but Rae suffered a concussion while working an event that week.

Due to Nick Aldis challenging for the Worlds Title, Doug Williams was left without a partner in the Crockett Cup. That spot has now been filled as former NWA World Tag Team Champion Davey Boy Smith Jr. is returning to the organization.

Matches from the PowerrrTrip show are airing on tonight’s Powerrr episode. To view the lineup for the 3/1 Powerrr, head over to this link.
