Michael Elgin opts to file a lawsuit against IMPACT.

Aaron Frobel, known by his in-ring name as ‘Michael Elgin’, took to his social media platforms to announce that he has filed a lawsuit against IMPACT Wrestling. In June of 2020, when the #SpeakingOut movement was ongoing, IMPACT released Joey Ryan and Dave Crist, who had allegations made against them.

The company suspended Frobel and at the time, his status was pending further review of the allegation against him. IMPACT later put out a follow-up statement which read that Frobel would no longer be appearing on their programming.

Per court documents obtained by PWInsider, Frobel is claiming that IMPACT breached his contract by removing him from their programming almost two years ago. He is also alleging that IMPACT prevented him from working in New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Pro Wrestling NOAH in December 2020.

He put out the following statement on March 1st:

Frobel also uploaded a video to his YouTube channel during which he further discusses his reasons for filing the lawsuit.
