The first AEW Rampage after the Revolution pay-per-view saw a small decrease with the show finishing #23 on cable.
The March 11th edition of the show taped two nights prior averaged 526,000 viewers with approximately 282,000 (0.22) in the 18-49 demographic with data from Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.
Overall viewership was down by 3.5 percent and the 18-49 audience dropped by four percent from last week.
In the 18-34 demo, males fell 17 percent but that was offset by women in the category increasing by 41 percent with the demo down by three percent overall.
The cable ratings were led by college basketball programming, which occupied the top five spots on Friday night.
Rampage aired against Virginia Tech vs. North Carolina that averaged 1,277,000 and 0.39 in 18-49 and finished third among cable originals, a Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma game that did 684,000 and 0.20 on ESPN2, and UConn vs. Villanova that did 491,000 and 0.16 on FS1.
The show included a brief appearance by the Hardys, which was advertised in advance along with the AEW in-ring debut of Swerve Strickland against Tony Nese, and Darby Allin taking on Marq Quen in the opener.
