NXT 2.0 saw a marginal increase for Tuesday’s program that saw the program return to the top fifty cable programs that evening.

The March 15th edition of the show averaged 624,000 viewers and approximately 178,000 (0.14) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

The show finished #44 among cable originals while going against multiple NCAA basketball games and the season finale of The Bachelor on ABC.

The numbers were up from 613,000 and 176,000 respectively for last week’s Roadblock special, which did not crack the top fifty cable programs that night.

The largest area of growth this week was among the 18-34 demo that increased by fifteen percent with a higher viewership of women than men in the demo. According to Thurston’s data, the female 18-34 audience grew from 17,000 to 28,000 this week while men fell from 25,000 to 19,000 in that category.

For the second straight night, The Bachelor was the top program on television with the finale averaging 4,730,000 viewers and 1.09 in 18-49 and aired directly against NXT 2.0.

On cable, NXT went against the final 34 minutes of the Texas A&M vs. Texas Southern game on TruTV (1,203,000 viewers and 0.36 in 18-49, #3 on cable) and against the first 36 minutes of the game between Indiana and Wyoming (2,196,000 and 0.68, #1).

NXT advertised a special edition of MizTV with The Miz interviewing new NXT champion Dolph Ziggler. The segment led to the announcement of Ziggler defending the title against LA Knight in the main event of the show.

Despite SmackDown and Raw hitting their highest numbers of the year over the past week, NXT 2.0 dropped by twenty percent this week with an average of 65,000 viewers on Sportsnet 360 and didn’t finish among the top ten sports programs on Tuesday.
