The Briscoes and FTR will finally have their match with the announcement made for Supercard of Honor.

Tony Khan revealed that FTR will be the opponents to challenge The Briscoes for the ROH tag team championships on Friday, April 1st in Garland, Texas over WrestleMania Weekend.

Earlier in the day, Khan confirmed the show would be going ahead with WarnerMedia giving Khan permission to run the show, which technically airs at the same time as AEW Rampage on TNT that night.

The tag match joins the previously announced matches with Bandido vs. Jonathan Gresham for the ROH Championship and Alex Zayne vs. Shane “Swerve” Strickland.

The Briscoes won the ROH tag titles for the twelfth time in December by defeating Matt Taven & Mike Bennett at Final Battle in Baltimore, Maryland. After the match, FTR made a surprise appearance and attacked The Briscoes.

FTR are the current AAA tag team champions but it’s advertised as a match for the ROH championships.
