Kazuyuki Fujita made the first defense of the GHC heavyweight championship on Monday.
The 51-year old champion defeated Masato Tanaka in the main event of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Great Voyage in Fukuoka with a match that went over thirty-one minutes.
Tanaka, 49, entered into an exchange of headbutts before being struck by a soccer kick and Beast Bomb, which the challenger kicked out from. Fujita followed with two more Beast Bombs and pinned Tanaka.
After the match, Fujita shook Tanaka’s hand.
