L.A. Knight and Gunther going one-on-one.
Gunther was in action on the 3/22 episode of NXT 2.0 and he scored a win over Duke Hudson. Post-match, Gunther brought up L.A. Knight’s name which immediately led to Knight coming to the ring. At the conclusion of their segment, it was made official that they are going one-on-one at NXT Stand & Deliver.
Gunther expressed that Knight is only able to secure opportunities through talking and not through what he does in the ring, referencing Knight’s NXT Title match from last week. Knight then swung at Gunther, but NXT Tag Team Champions Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner rushed to his aid.
This led to MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee) making the save and evening the numbers game.
