IMPACT on AXS notes: Chelsea Green & Matt Cardona take out Mickie James, Gresham-Edwards

Chelsea Green & Matt Cardona attack Mickie James, Jonathan Gresham runs off Eddie Edwards, IMPACT Tag Titles defended, Swinger-Zicky Dice

The conclusion of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS saw Chelsea Green and NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Matt Cardona standing over Mickie James. James was in the main event of the show as she challenged Tasha Steelz for the Knockouts World Title in a Street Fight.

The numbers game came into play when Savannah Evans assisted Tasha. This led to Chelsea coming out, but instead of helping Mickie, she watched Evans and Steelz continue their attack.

The IMPACT Tag Team Titles were on the line in a Lumberjack match. Violent By Design’s Eric Young and Joe Doering were retain over The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) with assistance from Honor No More’s Mike Bennett and Matt Taven. While the referee had his back turned, Bennett slid in the ring and low blowed Anderson and Taven followed up by hitting his finisher.

ROH and PROGRESS World Champion Jonathan Gresham is back in IMPACT Wrestling. He made the save when Rocky Romero was being ambushed by Eddie Edwards.

On the 3/31 IMPACT on AXS, Johnny Swinger is hosting the ‘Chump Chump’ challenge. He and Zicky Dice are going to team up against two talents.

Mahabali Shera returned to IMPACT and he is aligned with Raj Singh. Raj informed Bhupinder Gujjar that due to Gujjar not wanting to be affiliated with him, he is now a target.

By the conclusion of the 3/24 IMPACT show, two matches were added to the Rebellion card in April. JONAH is taking on Tomohiro Ishii and the X Division Championship will be defended in a three-way involving Ace Austin, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey and the champion Trey Miguel.
