KAIRI returns to in-ring competition.

At STARDOM’s World Climax ‘The Best’ event on 3/26 inside Ryōgoku Sumo Hall, KAIRI made her return to in-ring competition. The former World of STARDOM Champion had her first match for the promotion since 2017.

She teamed with Mayu Iwatani and they defeated Tam Nakano and Unagi Sayaka. The match ended after KAIRI connected with her elbow drop and Mayu followed up with a moonsault for the three count.

This was KAIRI’s first match since July of 2020 when she was still with WWE. Her return to STARDOM was announced in February. She would later do an interview to discuss her time in WWE and her return to STARDOM.

On 3/27, KAIRI is scheduled to have her first singles match in almost two years against Starlight Kid.

POST Wrestling’s Karen Peterson will have a full report on the site of today’s STARDOM show.
