AEW Rampage returned to its normal timeslot on TNT this week but did not bring back its normal audience, as the show was hurt badly against the NCAA basketball tournament.

The March 25th edition of the show averaged 425,000 viewers and approximately 182,000 (0.14) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

Excluding last week’s show, which began at 11:49 p.m. ET due to the NCAA tournament, this week’s show was the lowest overall viewership and 18-49 audience in the show’s history going back to last August.

Last week’s episode airing outside the regular timeslot, averaged 398,000 and 166,000 in 18-49.

Compared to two weeks ago, the March 11th show in the normal timeslot averaged 526,000 and 282,000 in 18-49. They were down by 33 percent in the 18-34 demo and dropped 36 percent in the 35-49 category from the March 11th show.

Rampage finished #32 for the night on cable with the NCAA tournament dominating both cable and network programming on Friday night. Rampage aired against the Miami vs. Iowa State game, which finished first on cable with 2,552,000 viewers and 0.71 in the 18-49 demo. There was also a game on CBS airing against Rampage that averaged 8,817,000 and 2.37 in 18-49.
