The show finished #23 among cable originals with viewership up slightly from last week while the demo fell by five percent.
NXT 2.0 went against the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Chicago Bulls game, which finished first on cable with 1,206,000 viewers and 0.41 in 18-49 followed by Curse of Oak Island (0.33), Real Housewives of New Jersey (0.31), NBA Courtside (0.27), and Tucker Carlson on Fox News (0.27), which all aired against NXT.
There was a large uptick among adults 18-34, which increased by 25 percent and was all due to men in the demo growing from last week while women were essentially the same.
In the 50+ demo, they went from 0.35 to 0.37.
Not only was the show coming out of a special over WrestleMania weekend, but Bron Breakker appeared on the most-watched edition of Raw in over a year and beat Dolph Ziggler to win the NXT Championship. He opened the show on Tuesday to set up a title match later in the show against Gunther.
In Canada, the big number Raw pulled had no impact on NXT with this week’s show falling 20 percent from last week with an average of 53,000 viewers on Sportsnet 360. It was the lowest episode of NXT in Canada since January 19th.
