Austin Theory now going by ‘Theory’, set for U.S. Title match on 4/18 WWE Raw

Austin Theory states that Vince McMahon prefers for him to be called 'Theory'. He'll also be getting a shot at Finn Balor's U.S. Title

Austin Theory undergoes name change.

While Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce were chatting backstage on the 4/11 episode of Monday Night Raw, they were approached by Austin Theory. Theory told them that he and Vince McMahon came to the agreement that the name ‘Austin’ does not suit him, so now he’ll be going by ‘Theory’.

He brought up that he pinned United States Champion Finn Balor in a six-man tag on the 4/4 WWE Raw and feels he should get a title match. That opportunity was granted to him and Theory is now scheduled to take on Balor next week.

At WrestleMania 38, Theory fell in defeat to Pat McAfee in their singles match. Post-match, he took a ‘Stunner’ from Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Following tonight’s Raw, POST Wrestling is going live for patrons with a recap of the show.
