WWE to host an event at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on 9/3

WWE has announced their stadium show in September that is taking place in the United Kingdom

WWE is going to host a stadium show in the United Kingdom.

It has been confirmed by WWE that the company will be presenting a stadium show this coming September from the United Kingdom. The event is taking place at Principality Stadium which is located in Cardiff, Wales and that stadium seats 70,000-plus people.

This is going to be the first time that WWE has hosted a stadium show in the U.K. in three decades. Vaughan Gething, Welsh Government Minister for Economy, noted the following in the press release:

Wales will provide an iconic location for WWE’s return to the UK after 30 years and showcase our country to a global audience of millions, including extended reach in the USA. This is set to be the perfect addition to a huge year of sport, entertainment and culture in Wales that will attract people from across the globe to experience what our country has to offer.
