Tony Khan’s update on AQA.
AEW is presenting a live episode of Rampage on TNT that kicks off at 7 PM EST. AEW President Tony Khan joined Dave LaGreca and Mark Henry on Busted Open Radio to promote the show.
On tonight’s Rampage, Ruby Soho is taking on Robyn Renegade in a Owen Hart Cup qualifier. Khan stated that he’s been looking to give recent AEW signee A.Q.A an opportunity and he was aiming to do Ruby versus A.Q.A last week but A.Q.A has been sick.
A.Q.A was in action on the ROH Supercard of Honor pre-show and she defeated Miranda Alize. She last competed for AEW at a Dark taping in March.
The finals of the Owen Hart Cup for both the men’s and women’s divisions are taking place at Double or Nothing on May 29th.
