Theory captures his first championship in WWE.
The United States Championship was on the line on the April 18th episode of Monday Night Raw. The conclusion of the match saw Theory hit Finn Balor with his ‘ATL’ finisher to secure the win and become the new United States Champion.
Members of the locker room such as Apollo Crews, Cedric Alexander, Commander Azeez and others came out to the ring to celebrate with Theory. As they had Theory hoisted up, Vince McMahon came out and he and Theory celebrated on the entrance ramp.

Balor’s U.S. Title reign began in February. Tonight’s match against Theory was his first title defense since winning the belt.
