Eddie Kingston vs. Tomohiro Ishii officially added to Capital Collision

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced its first match for next month’s Capital Collision card.

The May 14th event in Washington, D.C. will see AEW performer Eddie Kingston square off with New Japan’s Tomohiro Ishii.

Kingston issued a challenge to Ishii last Saturday at the Windy City Riot following Ishii’s win against Minoru Suzuki.

Kingston entered the ring wearing a Terry Funk t-shirt and acknowledged Ishii’s trainers Genichiro Tenryu and Riki Choshu while noting he lives and breathes King’s Road a.k.a. All Japan Pro Wrestling.

The same show saw Jon Moxley issue a challenge to Hiroshi Tanahashi for the event in Washington and an angle for Suzuki to face Brody King at next month’s show, although neither match has officially been announced yet.
