Fujinami to miss two events due to COVID.

68-year-old Tatsumi Fujinami wrestled several matches for New Japan Pro-Wrestling over the past two years; three of which took place in 2022. He was going to be in the opener of Wrestling Dontaku on May 1st as a part of a team with Shingo Takagi and BUSHI and they were set to take on Zack Sabre Jr., Taichi and TAKA Michinoku. A mystery partner for Shingo and BUSHI is now listed on the bill for Wrestling Dontaku.

Fujinami tested positive for COVID and is off the show. The news was broken via the Twitter account of Fujinami’s Dradition Pro-Wrestling promotion. In addition to the New Japan show, Fujinami was scheduled for a ‘HEAT UP’ event on May 2nd but is no longer competing at that event.
