NJPW not airing two-hour episode of STRONG on 5/7, sets lineup for 5/14

New Japan announces a change of schedule for their upcoming STRONG shows on NJPW World

A change of schedule for the STRONG program.

This past Monday, New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced that the 5/7 episode of their weekly STRONG program would be two hours long featuring matches from ‘Lonestar Shootout’ and the ‘Mutiny’ tapings.

There has been a change in the schedule as NJPW noted on their official website that due to circumstances, that two-hour show is not taking place. On Sunday, May 8th, the Lonestar Shootout match lineup will air on STRONG which consists of the following bouts:

  • Stray Dog Army (BATEMAN & Barrett Brown) vs. Bullet Club (Chris Bey & Hikuleo)
  • Blake Christian vs. JONAH
  • Fred Rosser, Alex Coughlin & The DKC vs. Team Filthy (Tom Lawlor, Royce Isaacs & J.R. Kratos)

On Saturday, May 14th, matches from the STRONG Mutiny tapings are going to air and that lineup is listed as followed:

  • Hikuleo vs. Jay White
  • Handicap Match: Fred Rosser vs. West Coast Wrecking Crew (Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs)
  • Rocky Romero, Alex Coughlin & Adrian Quest vs. J.R. Kratos, Tiger Mask & Danny Limelight
