Suzuki back in All Japan for the first time in nine years.

All Japan Pro Wrestling wrapped up their 2022 Champion Carnival tournament on 5/4 and coming out of the tournament victorious was Yuma Aoyagi, who earned himself a shot at the Triple Crown Championship.

The company has scheduled a six-man tag for June 12th at Korakuen Hall featuring past Champion Carnival winners and two-time winner of the tournament, Minoru Suzuki is among the talents announced to be in the match. Suzuki is set to team with Suwama and Triple Crown Champion Kento Miyahara. They’ll be taking on Yuma Aoyagi, Jake Lee and Shuji Ishikawa.

Suzuki has not wrestled for All Japan since 2013. He got his start with the company in the early 2000s and throughout his time there, he became a multi-time tag team champion and held the Triple Crown on two occasions.

On top of his duties with New Japan, Suzuki appeared for All Elite Wrestling recently and he competed for DDT Pro Wrestling in late 2021. At the upcoming NJPW Capital Collision show in Washington D.C., Suzuki will be going one-on-one with AEW’s Brody King.
