As Solo Sikoa was in the ring during the 5/10 episode of NXT 2.0, he was met by North American Champion Cameron Grimes. Grimes stated that at NXT In Your House, he’ll be defending his title in a singles match against Carmelo Hayes but following that, Solo is next in line. That segment led to Hayes and Trick Williams ambushing Grimes from behind and Solo making the save.

A new member of Diamond Mine was revealed by Roderick Strong and that new member is Damon Kemp (Bobby Steveson). The announcement was a surprise to The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed), who were approaching Strong about assisting them in their match against The Viking Raiders (Ivar & Erik) on 5/3. They insisted that Strong not interfere in the rematch between the two teams on 5/17.

The NXT Women’s Breakout tournament kicked off and in the first round, Fallon Henley bested Sloane Jacobs and in addition to that, Nikkita Lyons scored a win over Arianna Grace (Bianca Carelli).

Amari Miller made her first appearance on NXT TV since March 1st. Several months ago, she was stretchered out following a match with Lash Legend, during which she suffered a concussion. Miller’s NXT TV return bout was against Alba Fyre (Kay Lee Ray) and Fyre got the win.

Opening up the program was Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne defending the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles against Roxanne Perez and Wendy Choo. Due to a distraction from NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, Toxic Attraction retained. The trio beat down Choo and Perez post-match.

To even the score for the ‘kidnapping’ of A.J. Galante, Tony D’Angelo alongside Troy Donovan and Channing Lorenzo ‘kidnapped’ Cruz Del Toro and put him in the trunk of their car. As a result, D’Angelo versus Santos Escobar was made official for 5/17.

NXT Champion Bron Breakker is scheduled to appear on next week’s program. Joe Gacy extended the invitation to Breakker to form an alliance of sorts and Breakker will respond to Gacy.

In the main event, Natalya went one-on-one with Cora Jade. The final sequence of their match saw Natalya locking Jade in a ‘Sharpshooter’ and Cora did not tap out, but passed out until the match was ruled in Natalya’s favor. Both talents shook hands and embraced afterwards.

After being taken out by Von Wagner on 4/12, Ikemen Jiro returned and brawled with Wagner in the backstage area.

There was a mixed tag match on the 5/10 show that saw Sarray and Andre Chase defeat Grayson Waller and Tiffany Stratton.
