Micro Problem

Backstage, Cesar Duran bumped into Arez and said he could be a solution to his Micro Man problem, and they will talk later.

Holidead (w/ Gangrel & Dr. Dax) vs. Chik Tormenta

They start the match taking each other to the corners before exchanging chops and Tormenta hitting Holidead and Dax on the outside with a tope suicida. Tormenta tried another one and got kicked in the head by Holidead. Holidead follows with clotheslines in the corner and a suplex, before working on the legs of Tormenta. Tormenta comes back with head scissors, but Holidead stops her with a spine buster for a two count. Tormenta hits a Meteora for a two count, before going back to the top and missing a moonsault. Holidead follows with Darkness Falls and gets the pin.

Winner: Holidead by pinfall at 4:07

Rich Bocchini gets a word with Holidead after and asks what’s next. Holidead says to bring them from Mexico, Australia, and Canada because she’s running through the Featherweight Division and the dark days are upon us.

In the Ring

We went to Kauai, Hawaii earlier this week where Kevin Von Erich is trying to calm down his sons Ross and Marshall. Kevin says their hearts are in the right place and to not let 5150 mess their game up. Marshall says it’s because of the reasoning and it being a family belt. Kevin says there’s only one thing to do, to sign the match and beat them in the ring in Texas. Marshall then breaks a wooden board with his leg.

The Tan is Real

We see Alexander Hammerstone who just arrived at the arena and The Von Erichs greet him and ask him when he’s going to come to Hawaii and surfboard with them. Hammerstone says he’s scared of sharks, but it might be worth it for the tan.

MLW Caribbean Heavyweight Championship Cyclone Match: King Muertes (c) vs. Octagon Jr. vs. El Dragon vs. El Hijo de LA Park

The crowd is fully behind Muertes, as the other 3 men go to attack him right away. Muertes fights them all off and knocks Octagon and Dragon to the outside and goes one on one with Hijo. Muertes and Hijo exchange chops and forearms until Muertes catches him with a suplex. Muertes hits a bunch of clotheslines in the corner and a chokeslam on Hijo that Dragon breaks up the pin attempt for. Dragon sends Muertes outside with head scissors as Octagon takes out Dragon with an arm drag and springboard dropkick. Hijo comes in and chops down Octagon before taunting the crowd. Hijo hits a cross body off the top rope and sends Octagon outside with a head scissors. Muertes comes in as him and Hijo go at it, but Muertes stops that with a power slam for a two. Muertes and Dragon go at it, with Dragon hitting a springboard elbow for a two count. Octagon goes to the top rope and hits a 450 splash on Dragon, but Hijo breaks it up as they go to commercial.

When we come back, Hijo hits a destroyer on Octagon for two. Muertes takes Dragon out with a DDT and Hijo with a spear. Muertes starts clotheslining the other three in the corners, but they start triple teaming him with cutters and splashes sending him to the outside. The other three go at it, including Hijo hitting a crossbody on Dragon who was on Octagon’s shoulders. Muertes drags Hijo to the outside, who clotheslines Muertes into the crowd. Hijo goes to the top rope and hits a crossbody to Muertes who was still in the crowd. Meanwhile, inside, Dragon and Octagon are going at it with Octagon hitting a Fall Away Slam from the top rope for the pin and the win.

Winner: Octagon Jr. by pinfall at 9:26, to become NEW MLW Caribbean Heavyweight Champion

Loyalty

We go to Rivera and Hernandez backstage where Rivera says it smells like shit and he thinks it’s the people of Dallas. Next week, they will have a Bunkhouse Brawl with the Von Erichs and they weren’t expecting Hernandez. Next week they will beat them and send them back to the barns to scoop up shit from horses. Sometimes blood isn’t really family, but loyalty is just like they could count on Konnan, Homicide and Slice Boogie.

Next Week

The Marathon Continues

We get an in depth look at Calvin Tankman. Tankman talks about growing up in Indiana, he had a lot of church as he was a Preacher’s kid, but when he wasn’t doing that, he was playing any sport, like football and basketball. Wrestling was his first love though. He had a cousin named Travis and every week they would watch WCW Nitro. From 3 or 4 years old he was hooked and used to kiss his biceps like Scott Steiner. Out of all the things he did, nothing equates to pro wrestling, and he loves it more than anything, other than his child. His dad did everything as his mom was sickly because of a work-related incident. They sued this large company that kept deferring until his dad drowned in debt. His dad kept going and he never saw him quit. Taking that from his dad and knowing what hard work is transitioning to his ring work. Heavyweight Hustle is every time you get knocked down or want to quit, you keep pushing forward and keep moving, in the words of Nipsey Hussle, the marathon continues.

Apocalypto Match: Jacob Fatu vs. Bestia 666

They start the match brawling right away with Bestia hitting a head scissors off the top rope. Bestia slides to the outside as Fatu hits him with a tope suicida. They start brawling on the outside, as Fatu sets up a table. They continue fighting against the barricades and ring posts before Fatu sends Bestia back inside and hits him with a flying crossbody for a two count. Fatu goes and grabs chairs and throws them inside the ring, before setting one up in a corner. They trade strikes before Fatu hits a power slam for a two as they go to commercial.

When we come back Bestia blocks Fatu in the corner with a boot and hits a spike DDT for a two count. Bestia sets up another chair in a corner and hits a cutter, but Fatu bounces up and hits a superkick and tries a Samoan Drop, which Bestia turns into a crucifix bomb for a two before sending Fatu headfirst into one of the corner chairs. Bestia sets up Fatu on the corner and tries a Muscle Buster but doesn’t seem to get it all and gets a two count. Bestia starts using the chair on Fatu’s back, but Fatu grabs him for a Samoan Drop for a two count. Bestia comes back with a Destroyer for two. Bestia goes and grabs a wooden plank from under the ring and sets it up on two chairs. He rushes towards Fatu, but Fatu grabs him and hits a pop-up Samoan Drop right through the wooden plank followed by a top rope moonsault for the pin and the win.

Winner: Jacob Fatu by pinfall at 9:41

Duran Down

We go to Cesar Duran backstage in a press conference, and he says he takes talking to the press because even though he gives them the best Lucha libre in the world, they don’t know how to appreciate it. Given his success he has obliged to make this announcement. The next World Heavyweight Championship match will boil your blood and make history, as he’s been guaranteed by the challenger that he’s willing to go to the extreme and even die. Duran introduces the challenger as Richard Holliday, who comes to the podium with Alicia Atout. Holliday tells everybody that the time has finally come for the top of the mountain of Major League Wrestling to finally get that change that it desperately needs. Holliday keeps talking about what he’s going to have before Alex Hammerstone tries to get in his face but gets held back by officials. Hammerstone gets close and Alicia throws a drink in his face. Hammerstone goes to swing and hits Holliday but ends up knocking out Duran instead.
