After a lengthy absence, NXT is expected to resume live events in the state of Florida beginning next month.
On Wednesday’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that there were talks of resuming live events for NXT, and POST Wrestling has learned that a schedule has been put together that will see the brand resume non-televised shows.
NXT has not held any house shows since the pandemic began in early 2020 with the brand undergoing major changes last September with the formation of NXT 2.0 and many talent departures. Their last non-televised show occurred on March 7, 2020 with shows in Michigan and Orlando that night.
The live events are expected to resume in June with multiple sources speaking with POST Wrestling with knowledge of the internal schedule and stating that as of now, they would just be in Florida.
The brand will continue its television tapings on Tuesday nights.
