Gzim Selmani and Sunny Dhinsa, the former Authors of Pain in WWE, are launching their own promotion.

The two announced via press release on Friday the formation of the Wrestling Entertainment Series with its first card set for Saturday, June 4th at the Motorpoint Arena (which is a huge venue that can hold approximately 10,000 people) in Nottingham, England, and streaming on FITE TV.

Selmani and Dhinsa are scheduled to wrestle on the debut show and be joined by their former manager Paul Ellering.

The two wrestled as Akam and Rezar as the Authors of Pain (later shortened to ‘AOP’) in WWE from 2016 until 2020 when the two were released from the company. During their tenure, they won the Raw & NXT tag titles together.
