AEW Rampage was the promotion’s final stop before Sunday’s pay-per-view and featured the addition of several matches to Double or Nothing.

AEW RAMPAGE RESULTS:
*Owen Hart Foundation – Semi-Final: Ruby Soho def. Kris Statlander in 10:07
*Dante Martin def. Max Caster in 6:14
*The Young Bucks def. Taylor Rust & Jon Cruz in 2:40
*Bryan Danielson def. Matt Sydal in 11:03

In the main event, Soho pinned Kris Statlander to advance to Sunday’s finals of the women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament against Dr. Britt Baker. The crowd was strongly behind Statlander after a dramatic near-fall at the end followed by Soho winning with La Magistral cradle. During Soho’s post-match speech, there are noticeable boos directed at Soho as she addressed Baker.

During the show, it was confirmed that Paige VanZant will make her debut at Sunday’s pay-per-view teaming with Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page against Sammy Guevara, Frankie Kazarian & Tay Conti.

The match was announced after Guevara, Kazarian & Conti broke into American Top Team’s gym and smashed their trophy case and grabbed Jorge Masvidal’s BMF title and two UFC championship belts.

A match between Darby Allin and Kyle O’Reilly has also been added to Double or Nothing after Allin issued the challenge following O’Reilly’s attack on Sting last week.

Rampage included a special appearance by Gangrel (David Heath), who appeared in the corner of The Young Bucks when Matt & Jeff dressed up as The Hardys for their match against Taylor Rust & Jon Cruz. Gangrel was briefly aligned with The Hardys in 1999 as ‘The New Brood’ in the World Wrestling Federation.

After the match, The Young Bucks attacked Gangrel and were about to deliver the BTE Trigger when The Hardys ran down and saved Gangrel.
