After ending their working relationship last year, WWE and Ric Flair will be collaborating on a documentary together.
WWE announced on Wednesday that Flair, WWE, and director Tom Rinaldi have entered a partnership for an “unprecedented” two-hour documentary on the two-time WWE Hall of Famer.

Flair and WWE parted ways last August with reports that Flair requested and was granted his release from the company.
Weeks later, Flair was at the center of the controversy after the “Plane Ride from Hell” episode of Dark Side of the Ring.
In the episode, former flight attendant Heidi Doyle claimed that Flair was walking around naked on the May 2002 flight and alleged that Flair made her touch his genitals.
Flair issued a statement and said he has never forced himself on anyone and that “it never happened.”
After the episode aired, WWE removed Flair’s “Whooo” from the opening of WWE programming, which Flair later addressed on his podcast and blamed Nick Khan:

Tom Rinaldi is a reporter at Fox Sports, who is also set to be an executive producer on the NBCUniversal drama “Pinned” that is being developed with WWE.
Flair is preparing for his last match that is scheduled for Sunday, July 31st at the Nashville Fairgrounds as part of Starrcast over SummerSlam weekend in the city.
It will be Flair’s first match since 2011.
