JONAH says his time with IMPACT Wrestling is ‘on a freeze’.

After his run with WWE came to an end, JONAH appeared for both New Japan Pro-Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling in November 2021. He had been working with both companies since becoming a free agent but for the time being, his last match in IMPACT aired on the 5/5 episode of their weekly TV show.

JONAH was the focus of an Asylum Wrestling Store virtual signing and said he enjoyed his time with IMPACT but it is not over. He added that he’s focusing on his dates with New Japan and those two responsibilities started to clash with one another.

I liked working with IMPACT Wrestling a lot actually so, my time there at the moment is done but it’s sort of on a freeze. It’s not over. It’s just that I’m focusing more on New Japan Pro-Wrestling so I’ll be doing a lot more with them and their dates started clashing a little bit. But I really enjoyed my time in IMPACT Wrestling, particularly wrestling Josh Alexander. He was someone that I always wanted to wrestle and I was very happy I got to do it.

In mid-May, JONAH was in action at NJPW Capital Collision in Washington D.C. and wrestled at the following night’s STRONG taping in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
