New tag champions crowned.
The main event of the June 2nd installment of NXT UK saw Tyler Bate and Trent Seven defend the NXT UK Tag Team Titles in a Triple-Threat match that involved Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith along with Die Familie’s Rohan Raja and Teoman.
In the end, it was Carter and Smith becoming champions and holding their first titles under the NXT UK banner.
Carter, Smith and Moustache Mountain met several times in the past. Bate and Seven defeated them in a traditional tag match and then got another victory in a 2-Out-Of-3-Falls match.
This title change took place at the April NXT UK TV tapings which also featured an NXT UK Women’s Title match between Ivy Nile and champion Meiko Satomura.
