Junior Titles to be defended on the New Japan Road tour.

Coming off the heels of Dominion, NJPW will be heading into their New Japan Road tour and the June 20th and June 21st dates of the tour will feature title defenses.

On the 20th, United Empire’s TJP and Francesco Akira are getting their opportunity at the Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles when they take on the champions Ryusuke Taguchi and Master Wato.

The following night, 2022 Best of the Super Juniors tournament winner Hiromu Takahashi is scheduled to challenge Taiji Ishimori for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight belt.

Hiromu bested Taiji in the Best of the Super Juniors A Block final before going on to defeat El Desperado in the tournament final. This upcoming bout will be Hiromu and Taiji’s sixth singles match and their record is 4-2 in favor of Takahashi.
