ZERO1 ‘One Team’ Results (6/4): Shinjiro Otani benefit show, new World Champion crowned

Pro Wrestling ZERO1 held their Shinjiro Otani benefit show in Tokyo, Japan and the show closed with a new World Champion being crowned

It has been two months since Shinjiro Otani’s cervical spinal cord injury in the main event of Pro Wrestling ZERO1’s 4/10 show. Proceeds from this event went to Otani’s medical expenses as he continues to recover.

The show closed with Masato Tanaka defeating Takashi Sugiura to become the new ZERO1 World Heavyweight Champion. During the post-match pressers, Suigara publicly apologized for what occurred in his match with Otani in April. Hazuki, Shinjiro’s sister, appeared in front of the crowd and spoke.
