NXT 2.0’s Troy Donovan is no longer with WWE.

Coming off a win over Legado Del Fantasma at NXT In Your House, the D’Angelo Family’s Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan has been released by WWE, per Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.

The report notes that Donovan was cut due to a policy issue on June 11th. It was not a budget or creative issue and he was told he may be brought back in a year.

Donovan was introduced on NXT 2.0 as a member of Tony D’Angelo’s ‘family’. They recently scored a win over Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro and as a result, Legado had to join D’Angelo’s group.

The 22-year-old Donovan was in action on the June 7th episode of NXT 2.0 during which he and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo took on Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. He was a part of WWE’s March 2022 Performance Center class that included Bianca Carelli and Roxanne Perez.
