Tony Khan issues a statement concerning Jeff Hardy.

Earlier today, dashcam footage of Jeff Hardy’s DUI arrest was made public and Matt Hardy commented on the situation at hand. The latest concerning Jeff is that AEW has suspended him without pay and he can only return to the company when he has successfully completed treatment and maintained his sobriety.

In the statement AEW issued, it is noted that the company made it clear to Jeff that they will assist him in getting treatment and he’s open to receiving it.

Hardy was arrested in Volusia County, Florida on Monday for driving while impaired. He is currently facing three charges such as driving under the influence, driver’s license restrictions and an interlock violation from a previous DUI.

Back in October of 2019, Hardy was arrested in North Carolina for driving under the influence. During his appearance on AEW Unrestricted last month, he told Aubrey Edwards and Tony Schiavone that he was officially off probation and would be able to drive again this October.
