Joining Team IMPACT Originals at Slammiversary on June 19th is former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis. Aldis is teaming up with Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin and Frankie Kazarian to take on Honor No More’s Eddie Edwards, PCO, Mike Bennett, Matt Taven & Vincent. There is one more mystery slot left on the IMPACT Originals team.

D’Lo Brown reunited with Aces & Eights on the 6/16 IMPACT on AXS. Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff had a confrontation with Honor No More which led to them asking D’Lo if he remembered what it felt like to represent the group. This led to D’Lo accompanying Wes and Garett to the ring in Aces & Eights attire and helping them fight off Honor No More.

The Reverse Battle Royal is returning for the Slammiversary pre-show and so far, Raj Singh, Mahabali Shera, Zicky Dice and Johnny Swinger are scheduled for the match.

Closing tonight’s program was the contract signing for Josh Alexander and Eric Young’s IMPACT World Championship match. Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore was present and got physical when he swung on Violent By Design’s Deaner. Young then broke the V.B.D. flag over D’Amore’s back and gave Alexander a piledriver on the exposed wood in the ring.

Masha Slamovich’s undefeated streak in IMPACT continued as she bested Alisha Edwards to hit the 11-0 mark.
