The Undisputed Universal Championship match is set for WWE SummerSlam next month.

Roman Reigns will defend the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in a rematch from WrestleMania 38 this past April.

Lesnar returned on Friday Night SmackDown following Reigns’ title defense against Riddle. Lesnar hit Reigns with an F-5 and delivered the same maneuver to The Usos as the show went off the air.

WWE officially announced the match for SummerSlam on July 30th at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.

It was announced earlier in the program that Randy Orton is scheduled for an operation with Fightful Select reporting this past week that Orton is dealing with a legitimate back injury and surgery was possible.

Orton last wrestled on the May 20th edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
