AEW has announced that New Japan Pro Wrestling star Hiromu Takahashi will no longer be a part of tomorrow’s Forbidden Door event.

In a tweet, the company stated:

“Hiromu Takahashi has a fever and can’t travel to America to compete at Forbidden Door. The match will now be a trios match with #BulletClub…vs #DudesWithAttitudes”.

The tweet specifies that the new line-up will be the Young Bucks and El Phantasmo (with Hikuleo in their corner) vs. Sting, Darby Allin, and Shingo Takagi.

The originally scheduled match was a four-on-four encounter, including Hikuleo as part of the Bullet Club team and Takahashi with the Dudes with Attitudes.

It is the latest in a string of changes that have affected almost the entire card for Forbidden Door as originally conceived.

We wish Hiromu Takahashi a speedy recovery.
