New IWGP Tag Team Champions.
The second match on the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door main card was for the IWGP Tag Team and ROH World Tag Team Championships. Coming out of the match victorious was the duo of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.
Earlier in the match, Harwood appeared to have injured his shoulder but he returned. The final sequence of the bout saw Harwood and Wheeler line up Rocky Romero for the ‘Big Rig’ to retain their ROH World Tag Team Titles and become the IWGP Tag Team Champions.

United Empire’s Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan were the IWGP Tag Champions going into the match. United Empire will be represented again on tonight’s show when Will Ospreay defends the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Title against Orange Cassidy.
