Liger retired from in-ring competition several years ago. He last competed at Wrestle Kingdom 14 and teamed with Naoki Sano to take on Hiromu Takahashi and Dragon Lee. Liger does commentary for New Japan Pro-Wrestling and the 16th when the G1 Climax 32 tournament begins.
NOAH’s ‘Destination’ event is going to feature the first match of Keiji Muto’s retirement tour. He’ll be facing Kaito Kiyomiya. Also on the docket for that show is Satoshi Kojima defending the GHC Heavyweight Title against Kenoh, Timothy Thatcher and Hideki Suzuki challenging for the GHC Tag Team Titles along with the likes of Ninja Mack and Rob Van Dam in action.
