The former Nia Jax has reiterated that she will not be appearing at this weekend’s Wrestling Entertainment Series (WES) card in England.
The event was originally set for last month but was moved to July 9th with an advertised main event of IMPACT wrestler Moose taking on former K-1, UFC, Pride, and Strikeforce fighter Alistair Overeem.
Lina Fanene (f/k/a Nia Jax in WWE) stated last month she would not be appearing at the re-booked event, however, the promotion continues to advertise her including a tweet last Thursday where her image was shown for a meet-and-greet giveaway contest.
Fanene tweeted on Sunday:
I do not know why I am still on this poster, but I will REPEAT myself again…I will NOT be at the show. Please do not buy a ticket thinking you will see me perform or get a chance to meet me. I hate that this misleads people! https://t.co/4yTAhHeWbX

This comes days after IMPACT broadcaster Matthew Rehwoldt aired out his frustrations, stating the promotion had “ghosted” him and doubtful the show would happen.
Rehwoldt said no travel, hotel, or any pertinent information had been shared among the people he knew that were booked for the event. He added that some of them have been paid already.
Rehwoldt stated to be wary of purchasing a ticket or the stream for the show.
So @wesofficialtv has cost me time and now cost me income.
I was asked to be on this show but had a conflicting booking. I was told they really wanted me and would pay me upfront. So as they were former colleagues I took them at their word and passed on my other booking.

The WES Twitter account continues to promote the event and the show is scheduled to stream on Fite TV this Saturday.
Those advertised for the show include the Legion of Pain (the former Authors of Pain), Eric Young, Samuray del Sol, Jody Fleisch, Levis Valenzuela (the former No Way Jose), Lince Dorado, Big Damo, Dean Muhtadi (Mojo Rawley), Steph De Lander, and Tom Hannifan.
