After Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade defeated Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin to become NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, they were interviewed backstage and Perez said she is cashing in her Breakout tournament contract and is going to challenge Mandy Rose for the NXT Women’s Championship on July 12th.

Closing out Great American Bash was Bron Breakker defeating Cameron Grimes to retain the NXT Championship. Post-match, Bron was ambushed by J.D McDonagh, the former ‘Jordan Devlin’. McDonagh’s return to NXT was being advertised for next week’s show.

A vignette aired on tonight’s program to promote the arrival of a new talent named ‘Axiom’.

Before going to commercial break, viewers were asked to scan a QR code and the following digits appeared: ‘8:10:11′.

Coming out of Great American Bash, The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) bested Roderick Strong and Damon Kemp to retain the NXT Tag Team Titles.

Carmelo Hayes’ reign as North American Champion continued as he picked up a win over Grayson Waller in their singles match and in addition to that, Hayes’ running mate Trick Williams defeated Wes Lee earlier in the show after putting ‘rubbing alcohol’ in Lee’s eyes.

Scheduled for the July 12th show is a singles match between Apollo Crews and Giovanni Vinci.
