Dawkins and Ford are getting another shot at the titles.
In three weeks, WWE is presenting their annual SummerSlam event and this year’s show is taking place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The newest addition to the match card is The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) defending the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins).
Dawkins and Ford challenged The Usos for the belts at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event but lost the match. It was later revealed that during the final pin, Ford’s shoulder was off the mat. They are now set to get their rematch in what will be ninth match between these two teams.
With the addition of this tag title match, below is the updated SummerSlam lineup:
- Undisputed WWE Universal Championship — Last Man Standing Match: Roman Reigns (c) (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. Brock Lesnar
- Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin
- WWE United States Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Theory
- Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships: The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) (c) vs. The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins)
