Pat McAffee was not in attendance, selling the post-match attack by Happy Corbin at Money in the Bank. Corey Graves filled in. Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin was made official for SummerSlam.

Theory appeared twice during the Bloodline promo segment teasing a cash-in.

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Ludwig Kaiser seemingly indicating a future Intercontinental Championship match on the horizon between Shinsuke and Gunther.

Liv Morgan made her first appearance as new Smackdown Women’s Champion when Natalya and Ronda Rousey interrupted, leading to a match between Rousey and Natalya. The announcers referenced a potential rematch between Rousey and Morgan at SummerSlam.

Max Dupri and the Maximum Male Models ma.çé and mån.sôör̃ presented the “2022 Tennis Collection” 

An announced tag match featuring Aliyah & Lacey Evans vs. Shayna Baszler & Shotzi didn’t occur as Evans, after reprimanding the crowd for their lack of enthusiasm for her entrance, slapped Aliyah and left before Baszler and Shotzi were introduced.

The Usos were informed about a possible special guest referee for their Undisputed Tag Team Championship match at SummerSlam.

Sheamus faked a cough and said he hoped he didn’t have COVID. Butch replaced him in the match and lost. After the match, Sheamus confronted McIntyre. McIntyre swung his sword and cut the top rope sending fire out of the turnbuckles.
