Miyu Yamashita defeats Thunder Rosa at TJPW Summer Sun Princess, secures AEW Women’s Title match

With her victory over Thunder Rosa at Tokyo Joshi Pro 'Summer Sun Princess', Miyu Yamashita earned herself an AEW Women's World Title match

Yamashita will be challenging Rosa for the belt in the future.

The Ota City General Gymnasium played host to Tokyo Joshi Pro’s ‘Summer Sun Princess’ show. On the card, AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa took on Miyu Yamashita and going into the match, Rosa stated that if Yamashita won, she could come to the U.S. and challenge for the belt.

Yamashita got the victory and post-match, Rosa shook her hand and said whenever Yamashita comes back to the U.S., she can get her shot.

Yamashita made her All Elite Wrestling debut in early June on a Dark: Elevation taping while the company was in California.
